CHRONOLOGY
- Significant
Events. The communication platoon was aboard ship as a
part of the Contingency Landing Force during most of the month of
October. When the Battalion landed on 28 October, the communications
platoon established the necessary radio nets, wire system and
temporary message center.

Developments. None
- Problem
Area. The lack of waterproofing material
and the large amount of rainfall are causing a large drain on dry cell
batteries and radio and wire equipment.

overall status is communication equipment is very good.

percentage of combat equipment available normally exceeds 90%.
