John W. Ripley’s Funeral

On 3 November 2008 word went out to Ripley’s Raiders
that Col. John Ripley had died at home in his sleep and that the funeral
was being held at the Naval Academy at Annapolis. 28 members were attendance.

Michelle (left) and her staff were excellent at setting up a group rate for
lodging coordinating meals, activities and transportation. In this photo
she is picking up needed posters from Kinkos. We got the hotel’s discount
rate.
